New Majesty owner from Idaho

Postby MAK70 » Sat Jul 08, 2017 15:59 15

Hello All,

I just made a purchase of a 2007 Majesty scooter. Having ridden motorcycles most of my life, this will be a first for myself. I found a deal on a blue 07 with 15k for miles. The previous owner had lost the title, and the bike needs some TLC. I picked this up for $300.

Some of the things this needs: Seats recovered, speedometer magnet sensor replaced, and a new windshield.

I am hoping to get this up and going and use it as a commuter for my daily commute of 60 miles round trip.

This looks like a great forum and resource. I hope you'll have me.

Welcome! Sounds like you got yourself a good deal, especially if you are able to get it up and running for as little as you hope. Happy riding.

Welcome, you really scored the best deal yet. I once bought a wrecked one for $600 and thought I was getting a deal.

It's been a bit since I posted.

I had to fix a couple of minor things, new windshield, recover the seat, fix the speedometer magnet (it was running poorly with the speedo not working), and put a new wheel bearing in the back wheel (due to the previous owner assembling the spacer wrong).

I rode this thing all over Yellowstone park one week and had a blast. So far I have put on over 2500 miles in the last month. I use this to for my daily commute of 50 miles and just love it.

I need to change the belt now and most likely replace the rollers in the clutch. It is getting a bit slow on takeoff.

Best $300. I have spent.
