Morphous Performance Parts??

Postby Reecew » Fri Jun 24, 2016 20:06 20

I have been looking, but I can not find an aftermarket variator, clutch, torque spring, or clutch springs for the Morphous. Do they make anything, will parts from an another model scooter work, or are the Dr. Pulley Sliders the only option for performance upgrade? And do the performance chips really work, are they actually noticable?

Thankyou

Google "webike, Japan." The Morphous is called the "Maxim" in Japan. I think that you'll find most things that you're looking for there!

I have looked at japan.webike, aside from roller weights and exhaust there is nothing available for "performance". I have always upgraded the clutch, variator, carburetor, exhaust, cdi, coil etc on all of my previous scooters. This will be my first fuel injected scooter so not being able to tune it is new to me since thats my favorite part. I appreciate the reply, thankyou!

A YP400 engine might a considerable option.
2009 EU Majesty. Malossi variator (#5114148 for EU model). 15g Dr. Pulley round rollers. DENSO IU22. Ramair filter pads mod. Sponge CVT filter. US Majesty air ducts. 62.2 MPG; 26.4 km/L.

Absolutely an option, just have to find a salvaged majesty for a decent price. Not to sure how often something like that would come around. But in the meantime i would really like to play with this engine. There has to be something available with the maxam craze overseas. I can not see not atleast a few of them modding the cvt, cam, throttle body, or tune the ecu with a chip or something of some sort.

I've been looking also, but as of yet haven't found any good sources. I guess a 400 swap is in my future.

Still been looking, without too much success. Originally, I was planning on doing the 400 swap, but I think I'll end up punching out or stroking the 250.

I found a place that may reflash the CPU. Because there's no replacement for displacement, and there aren't any performance parts available for the Morphous - other than maybe exhausts- I'm going to just replace the head, jug, and piston/rings on my Morph with Majesty parts. Much easier to find, and less expensive than the whole swap and probably easier. About the only difference in the engines is the bore.

Let me know if you do this. I have access to a blown Morph motor that was run too lean. Id be open to a morph rebuild for sure!
