According to Yamaha, TMAX ground clearance is 4.9". The Majesty's is listed as 4.7".
While the TMAX is superior to the Majesty in every conceivable way (

), I doubt it's much better suited for those Mexican roads than the Majesty is.
Tony, take that WR250R and have the ride of your life.

An APC . . . . . maybe.
I'm alone in Mexico right now. Safety isn't an issue, but I did have occasion to visit a doctor. I was not impressed. Currently at the airport awaiting a flight back to the US so I can see a better doctor.

I hope it's nothing serious, and all is well soon.

No, I still have not returned. Maybe this year? The Advrider inmate I met in Mazatlan Mx told me He wanted to return to Nashville where he is from. He asked if I would give a a job when he arrived. I did, he has been with me for 3 years and he is the best employee ever. I never thought about finding a good employee in Mx. I do have a strong urge to head out to Alaska this summer. I have been reading about everyone's road trips up there and really got the urge to go. I am building a new house right now so would need to finish that before I take off. I hope to make a Mexico trip by the end of the year. I will be 70 in July and worry my traveling days will soon be over. Sometimes you need a sense of urgency to get moving. I no what you mean. My father in law is 78, he just sold his Harley last year because he's feeling his riding days are over. He had an experience where the bike got away from him and tipped over, had a hard time getting it back up. I've tried to get him to consider a Scooter, but he's kinda hardwired into Motorcycles only.

Temps in the 60's today. I got the Majesty out for a brief run. It was awesome!!! After riding my Vespa GTS, the majesty feels like a really large bike. Love the power and comfort of the large seat. Great bike for a run to Alaska in a few months. I will certainly post about the trip here when I go. Tony in Tn
