Yamaha SMAX - Lost Key

I lost one of my Yamaha keys for my 2015 SMAX.

The dealer is having challenges ordering me a Yamaha replacement key. My ignition switch has a magnetic shutter which covers the ignition key hole.

I get a different story for other local dealers when I try to order a replacement key for my SMAX - shutter needs to be replaced, we can order the keys, etc. Key code is useless as with the VIN.

Has anyone out there with a SMAX loose their key and successfully had it replaced?

You lost both keys? Or are you trying to get a copy of the key from the dealer, but the magnetic shutter door is an issue?

I would assume the magnetic release are the same.
