Suzuki upped the ante with the '07 Burgman 400. There are several significant improvements including twin font discs, 62 liters of underseat storage, larger 14" front wheel, new 400cc DOHC engine to name some.
Another change in 07 was in the clutch design and the new one is giving us owners fits. It seems that at some time during the production cycle Suzuki changed the clutch and issued a new part number to correct the problem but no one can find out at what vin number the change was made. If the owner is lucky enough to have dealer that will work with him the company is standing behind the owner and will authorize a replacement. Unfortuately I am not one of the lucky ones. The 08 model has an altogether different part number and so far no one has reported a problem.
