So picked up this scooter few days ago was told it ran but had been sitting since 2018 so I got it home emptied the tank changed oil put fresh battery in it and turned it on when I turn key to the on position I noticed I didn’t hear fuel pump kick and then the check engine light came on and showed err 1 on display! So I started checking things and had a blown fuse and bad resistor that goes on starter line replaced both of those and still giving the err 1! Will this error cause me not to have any spark or fuel pump!?!? I have jumped at relay and fuel pump kicks but still wouldn’t start so pulled spark plug and no sparky!? Guess that’s as much as I’ve done and have searched the interwebs for answers but no luck yet so turning to the forum if this is repeat I’m sorry please just point in right direction!!

To my understanding, that type of error indicates an ECU failure. (I'm sure someone with more knowledge will reply.)

Uggghh that's what I was afraid of!! Is there anyway to reset it or reprogram it!? Appreciate the input very much! Next question is that only thing it could be or any way to test so that I'm not just parts swapping!?

Have you run the diagnostics on the machine.? Try unpluging the ECU-check for bent or broken pins on the ecu and the connector. Make sure it's plugged in tightly. Make certain the battery is up to snuff. There's a starting place. If you're lucky, it something simple.Also check your conversations-I have more info for you.

I actually bought new battery for it and have reseating the connections but didnt look for bent pemssee I told him to tell her to tell her for me since you should give me a f** take Judy's ride and take me up there so she can borrow the Tahoe but our suburban but I can't
