Hey, Tom...

I live in Rustburg (about 10 miles outside of Lynchburg) and ride a 2007 Burgman 400. There are 4 more Burgman riders in Richmond that I've "met" via BurgmanUSA.com. It'd be great to get a gathering going.

Eddie,

drop me a line sometime, the number here is 434-847-1074. Lets talk and see if we can find a mutually convenient time to get together. Besides, I'd like to see if the Burgy is quicker than the Majesty...:)

Okay! Saturday, September 23rd is gonna be a Central Virginia ride. We're going to start in Lynchburg on route 501 and travel to the Blue Ridge Parkway. It's going to be a 4 to 5 hour ride, if not just a tad longer. So far, the group is three scoots: 1 Majesty and 2 Burgman 400's. We'd love to see more.

PM me and I'll check in periodically!

Hey now, JUST A MINUTE!

I'm coming all the way from Richmond, and I'm taking the LONG WAY on Friday (since the ride isn't until Saturday) ... going up Route 250 from Richmond to Waynesboro, and then south on the BRP to Lynchburg ... total of about 200 miles. That's about how far it is from Va. Beach to Lynchburg on U.S. 460 ... so YA GOT NO EXCUSE!!! :tongue2:

BTW, hey everyone. I just joined this group so I could post this little remark. And please, anyone and everyone in Virginia (or anywhere else, for that matter), come on and join us for a ride down the Parkway this Saturday!

One other thing, I stopped by Burchams Cycles in Colonial Heights (just south of Richmond on I-95) last weekend. If anyone's looking for a scooter, they had a blue 2006 Majesty, a blue 2006 Burgman 400S, and several smaller Yamaha scooters (I know I saw at least one Vino). Burchams is the largest motorcycle dealer on the East Coast, or at least they claim to be. And they're about to move into an even LARGER facility.

I leave you now, resuming my rightful spot over on BurgmanUSA.com. I apologize for the intrusion, and I bid thee farewell. :salute:

i could probably have one air freighted over, but even if i had the cash to
do that, it would probably cost less to just buy another new majesty in the
usa !

one day i will get to the usa and do all the tourist things.....one day.....

It went really well. I got to meet Meade and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We rode all day with minimum sore behinds. It was a lot warmer than we expected, too.

We were two Burgmans. The Majesty was NOT represented. :?

I hope to do this again in the Spring. Maybe we can get more participation the next go 'round.
