Sometimes in traffic I am reminded how much we have to always be on our guard for both other people's mistakes and our own. I realized as I passed a truck on the right that had stopped to turn left that if anyone had been turning left from the opposite direction at that intersection at the time I passed through I wouldnt be writing this... The truck was tall enough that the other driver would have never seen me until it was too late to stop...
Moral of the story? - If you can't see through it, dont pass it at an intersection and don't put yourself in a blind spot...
If I had been in the car I probably would have gone on around the truck, but we have to reset our heads when we get on the bike. I wonder how many of us sometimes forget that like I did????
