Thanks Rubble for the two links. Lots of good information, especially on the Top Box. I've been waiting for mine to come in but so far it looks like it's due in sometime in mid-late January.

Thanks for publishing all these great comprehensive tests !

I pretty much agree with the Majesty impressions, although I've not experienced any mechanical maladies, and the rough-surface handling is not really a problem, even if you're pretending to be a sport bike [ which I often do].

I ended buying this bike yesterday. I also rode it 800 kilometers in 12.5 hrs in the Mad Bastard Scooter Rally.

All I've done today is get my GPS mounted and set up a plug for my electric vest. Tomorrow I get to RIDE!

Hi Bobb:

It looks like you were able to test ride several maxi-scooters as part of your work on the CMG evaluation.

How would you compare the Majesty 400 against the Sliverwing, X9, and Burgman 400?

Thanks :D

#1- Silverwing. Almost as nice as a Goldwing
#2 Majesty- well I did buy it
#3 Piaggio- Almost felt like a motorcycle but I'd be worried about quality
#4 Burgman- it was the sport model and to me felt twitchy and hard to keep in a straight line
