HOW DOES THE YAMAHA MAJESTY START IN COLDER WEATHER? I PLAN TO BUY ONE. I AM NOW RIDING A 150 cc CHINESE SCOOTER AND I HAVE TO WARM IT UP WITH AN ELECTRIC HEATER IN THE WINTER. I RIDE IT TO WORK HERE IN TENNESSEE ALL YEAR LONG. THE COLDEST RIDE I HAVE EXPERIENCED IS 12 ABOVE.
I HAVE THE HEATER ON A TIMER SO I DONT HAVE TO GET UP SO EARLY BUT SOMETIMES I FORGET OR SET IT WRONG. I CAN PARK INSIDE AT WORK.

The coldest I have road it is 44 degrees. It started just like it does at 100 degrees!!!!!!! I can't tell you about the teens though!!!!!!! As far a parking it in your work place, I guess that depends on where you work. It will fit through a door way but it is somewhat big so you'd need some room to move it about!!! :D

that may be so with the 150cc, but the majesty is much larger than any 150cc scooter.
put the majesty alongside one, and you will see that it would be like having a hummer parked next to a mini !

THANKS glennd,
I WILL RIDE IN COLDER WEATHER BUT THATS THE KIND OF INFORMATION I AM LOOKING FOR. I PUT ON INSULATED BIBS AND AN OLD ARMY COAT. I LIKE THE FACT THAT I CAN GET A TOURING WINDSHIELD AND WIND DEFLECTORS FOR THE MAJESTY. CANT GET THOSE WITH A BURGMAN.

Please post using upper and lower case letters. Hit the "caps lock" on the left side of your keyboard to release the shift key. Thanks!
