I installed a cup holder today! Went for a ride with the cup almost empty and full. Figured out that I will have to drink the coffee down to the first line and it will do fine!!! When it's full it wants to splash up out of the straw hole when I hit a bump!!

The only bad thing is I have to remove it whenever I want to get under the seat. I just used some 3M velcro and it removes easy enough!! I will store it under the seat when not in use!!

Here's a few photos!!

The last photo is of the 3M velcro! I had to cut it to allow the seat to go up!!! :D

Nice job!! It even allows access to the venerable fuel tank. Or does yours run on Starbucks?? Where did you find the cup holder??

Well, it almost runs on Starbucks!!! :D

I bought it at Walmart! It's called a Spill Master Euro Jr.!!
I just figured out a very easy install for a swivel type cup/bottle holder. I got the idea from my kids stroller.

First you must purchase the PRINCE LIONHEART STROLLER ACCESORY SYSTEM, #6530. Seen at this link...
http://www.princelionheart.com/site/t_str_6530.html

Use the front part of the mount, and place up against glove box door to mark two holes. Drill the two holes, and run the long screws supplied through the mount and the door. Add a little clear silicone sealant to keep the glove box watertight. Tighten the screws with the supplied allen wrench, and your done! Takes about 10 minutes total.

Please see my photos of the finished job in the gallery2 under "john", username drjcl, and the different ways you can use this holder for bottles, cups, soda cans, etc.. it even swivels with your movement!

Or I can email you the photos.

I like the looks of it but, will it hold a large Starbucks cup like in my photo? I would be a little worried about the weight of the the cup pulling down on the glovebox latch and eventually either wearing the latch our or just make to door pop open!

Let me know if it will hold that type of a cup! It looks like you wouldn't have to remove the holder to get into the glovebox. I have to remove my cup holder to open the seat or gas door! Not that big of a deal, but I'm into making things easy!!!
