What's 'flash to pass' guys?

Flash to Pass is a feature whereby you can "flash" your high beams... on the NON-US Majesty's there is a small button you "pump" to flash your high beams... now imagine how great this would be for confirming the attention of a driver you encounter while riding.

Must be all NA bikes missing it becuase my Canadian version doesn't have it either.

I do have it on my DL650 and use it a lot.
By the same token, my Kymco P150 has flash to pass as do, I believe the Burgman sisters.
I just fire a burst of 4-in-1 tracers from my 20mm Gatling gun. The main barrel is boresighted on the hi-beams, so it accomplishes the same thing, I think...

Toooooo funny!!!! There are times i REALLY wish I had 20mm cannons....like when I pull up behind some dummy with the bass turned up so loud MY ears hurt...if a few people actually started doing that those kind of problems would cease to be problems. Makes me want to go out and buy some automatic weapons....:)

You know what they say, "If it's too loud, you're too old!"
Yeah, maybe I am...and smart enough to know how many dB it takes to damage my hearing...I hear well at 53 and want to continue to do so. People seem to think it is their 'right' to listen to music at 140 dB, and as long as it doesn't interfere with other people's rights to NOT hear it, then that is true...but in traffic, they don't have a right to it there. Do it at home where you don't disturb others.

I will listen to music at live levels for very short periods of time...but those that do it often and for longer periods will be deaf before they are 50...and they are impacting the hearing of the rest of us too...and that is just plain wrong.

Actually, I prefer that they do it on the road. When they do it at home, I'm distrubed by it in my own house. Nothing irks me more than people who go booming into the subdivision. Unfortunately, I live at the entrance. Even so, I have the courtesy to turn my stereo down when turning into neighborhoods. The streets are a public place, my neighborhood I consider private. I don't like my private space invaded by unwanted sound.

Do you know how the whole "bass shaking" sound phenomenon began? It started in California when some bright individual figured out that if you could cause enough vibration it would trip the earthquake sensors in the street lights and shut them off. I imagine it was awesome to drive down the street at night and have every street light turn off as you pass it.
I agree that my living space should be quiet...but we are constantly bombarded by a**holes that live in our neighborhood as well as a**holes passing by ( we live on the corner of a main artery through the city) that refuse to turn their noise down...it is often so loud that it drowns out my own music in my house and shakes the dishes in the cabinets from over 200 feet away. If I knew who invented the notion of creating that much noise in cars and could find them, I would be arrested for murder...so there you go. We are inundated with it and the local police dont do anything about it.

I'm about ready to take an electric cattle prod to the electrical system in one of my neighbor's vehicles....

I thought this was a spring break/bike week thing. You know, guys will let the ladies "pass" for just a little "flash"...

That individual is way down my list. Numbers one & two are the people who invented the pay toilet & the telephone machine that won't let you talk to a live person.
