Hello all. Just picked up my new Majesty on Wednesday - already put 200 kms on her (what a great ride). New to the whole 'scooter' thing - bought a 50cc PPGO scooter earlier this spring (love the scoot - just not enough juice to keep up with traffic on some of the busier roads around town). After a lot of research (scouring the web, and visiting dealers again and again) decided to bite the bullet and purchase a 2006 red Maj. Kept the little 50cc for jetting around on short hops (also the wife is more comfortable tooling around on 'baby'). Still breaking the Maj. in, but the additional power is very welcome. I added a factory back-rest (well worth the $) and picking up my top case/rack on Monday.

Looking forward to a great summer of riding.

Welcome!!! I also have the "racy red" which is faster than the other color Majesty's - not really, but it seems to be a running joke around here that everyone claims that their color is the "fast" one.

Sounds like you are going to be touring on your scoot. I use mine for commuting, errand running, and just riding for fun. I am currently working on a rack and bracket so I can mount a hockey bag and a stick bag to the scoot since I travel 120 miles a week to the rink. That's over 6 gallons of gas in my SUV or just over 2 on the scoot!

Well, enjoy your ride, I know I will!

And... uh... GO CANES!
Hello and welcome to MUSA! Between here and BUSA, www.burgmanusa.com , you'll find a wealth of info!

Have fun!

:)
Hi. Welcome to the group.

Gee whiz Black sheep you racy reds have yet to meet the sailing silvers. They're even keeping our color for 2007. Also just joking.
Every time I see someone on a scooter, I say thumbs up.

Someone on a red majesty wouldn't even wave back the other day.
There are snobs among your group.
Welcome Steve! Hey I'm in Brampton too. We'll have to get together for a ride sometime eh. :)

For sure! I've been looking in the area for other Majs without much luck - have seen quite a few Burgs though. I live up at Mayfield and Hwy 10 area (can often be found at that corner's Timmy's - in the middle of all the HDs- heh!).

Steve, I'm not far from you then (Williams Pkwy & North Park). I know that Tim's - the one in Snelgrove right? For various reasons I'm late to get started riding this season; but on weekends last summer I did most of my riding in the Caledon hills and my furthest ride was to Collingwood. That's where I'm headed this wknd for a family do (on my Maj weather permitting). The following weekend I plan to attend Alphascoot Toronto scooter rally 2006. Would you be interested attending that? I plan to hook up with some other maxi scoots I know and we'll ride in from the west end together. Rally details at: http://www.torontovintage.com

Hope you can join us for that Steve but if not we can get together for some rides other times.

Sounds like a plan. I have some other previous plans for that day in the afternoon, but I can make the Rally no problem. Would love to hook up with some fellow Maxi's - getting pretty lonely ripping around town on my jack jones (though to be honest, the HDs are pretty friendly - and VERY curious about the Maj)...
