HI all
Is there a malossi variator for the morphous? I hear great things about them but have not been able to find it
OR would I just search for the majesty 250, would it be the same?

Any ideas for my 06 morphous?
TY

The variator is the same as the Majesty 400. The Morphous is a cruiser type scooter, built for getting around in style and class. If you're trying to make it fast, do the 400 swap. You'll be happier in the long run.

IS the variator the same as the 400, or the maj 250,,,OR is the morph variator the same as both of those?
I know it's the same as the 400
. Can't say about the Majesty250, never even seen one.

So then you think it would be fine if I purchased the malossi variator for the 400 and it put it in my 250? I want to do the engine swap but its WAY more work than a varitor change, I need to find a donor bike, disasemble both, much more work, but I an interested in the swap
The swap can be done in less than two days. If well researched, I would dare say it can be done in one! I took the Malossi from my 400, before it sold, and ran it in my Morph. I didn't swap the in the white clutch spring-I felt it wasn't needed.
Ok, so the 400 malosi fit well in the morph? did you use rollers or sliders? Was the malosi a good deal faster than the OEM for morph? I researched the variators in the morph and the maj400,,,its seems that there are some exact parts, but some are different,,,this is the one Im thinking of getting for the morph Malossi Variator Yamaha Majesty 400 2000-2007 [5113595] - $169.97 : Scooterpartsco.com IS this the one?
Because I fine tune for my riding, I always use rollers. I can buy three different sets , mix and match to get what I'm looking for, for a couple of dollars more than one set of sliders. Some love their sliders, I wasn't crazy about them when I tried them. They work, though. The Malossi made a very slight difference- I got the same if not better (for me) by playing with the rollers and different clutch springs. Don't over think this- just go ride! Personally, save your money. The difference isn't that big.
