We've been waiting for a T-max but rumor has it that they won't be imported in 07, so here we go Majesty-shopping.

Meanwhile, we (my pretty wife and I) use an RS BMW.

Any advice as to how much I should pay for a new O6?

More on the subject: After several near-misses on ebay, I found an 05 Majesty with fewer than 100 miles and the price was right.

So I've had it about 10 days and added 400 miles on short local runs. The BMW just sits. In fact, I've driven my car just once. The Maj is as good as I'd hoped.

Howdy Ya'll! That's not because you're from Texas, I actually say that in real life. But welcome to the group. There's a thread in here somewhere about what people paid for their scooter, but to cut to the chase, I paid $6200 OTD.

Your best bet to get a deal is to find a 2006 model once the '07s hit the dealers, then you can get it for just under MSRP. The bad thing is that bikes aren't like cars, they don't make as many and the one you want is not always easy to find. Either that, or it's the most popular model and they don't need to discount it!

I think the only way to get a real deal is to buy your bike during an ice storm on the last day of the fiscal year when they have to get the inventory off the books for tax purposes and no one else could make it in to the showroom because of the weather! Good luck with your ice storm down there!

I think you will greatly benefit a test ride on a Majesty.
I paid about 6200 otd... not much wiggle room last year, but black sheep has a point about about 'market timing', if you will. I've never been great at that in any sense, so... drive it and decide.
They had a gas card rebate going on a while back, but may be over now?
I truly enjoy mine, even if it is built for a shorter rider.
In fact, I sold my car, so am a committed scooter c'muter.

As it is inching towards the end of the vehicle year, you can begin to bargain a bit more on the prices. Best I've heard for an '06 is $5500 OTD.

Wish I had the leg length to drive an RS or LT :? but I'll stick with my Majesty.

Look on the internet and in auto/motorcycle sale magazines. I found my Majesty in the Illinois Auto & RV magazine that has both private and dealer listings. I live in Illinois and drove to Wisconson for a good deal. Some dealers sell on E-bay and there are some good deals to be had there also. Mine was Out the door with tax. license, title and dealer fees and a full face helmet for $5,800.
