Hi Jason,
I agree! Personalized plates are FUN! ..... I'm waiting for mine too.
It will read: 1049NOW (police 10-code for "enroute" or "on my way").

a friend of mine here in oz has the plates "MDK-187" on his car !

of course most people here have no idea what is about !

the plates that i laugh about are the ones like "U-WISH" etc etc.....

one of the best ones i have ever seen was simply "ID-WIN"

jason
I have "BIGBW" on my pickup and "LILBW" on my scoot..

-- Jason,
Hahaha! Those are pretty good! .... but I wouldn't want to sport the 187 one!
I saw one once while in line at a bank drive-thru that read: HIOFCR
And the other day, the suspect in an attempted bank robbery took off in a veh w/plts that read....."FINDME".....so they did.

-- Bob,
I hate to sound like a dummy, but what does the BW stand for? (I know I'll be slapping my forehead as soon as you tell me!)
My Pt Cruiser has JISCRZN meaning just cruzin! My Miata has ZUMMZMM meaning zoom zoom. My VW Bus has TYEDYED meaning tie dyed!!!! And finally my Majesty has A HRDLY meaning A Hardly, Hardly a Harley!!!!

That's all, I think  Yah, DMV like me!!!!! :D
Mine is: LRN2RYD
Kim,
What's going on???..... every time you come up with a cool idea for a lic plt, you what?.....go out and buy another vehicle ??

You really do come up w/good ones!!

No need to slap your forhead, BW is my initials.. When I first got a plate in CA back in the 70's they did not have BigBob, so I went for Bigbw.. I have had that plate for over 25 years.. Thought I would lose it when I moved to AZ, but it was available here.. When I bought the scoot, my wife said "how cute, a little BW".. You can guess the rest..
Hi Bob,
Thanks for clearing that up for me! Makes sense now.
I used to live in AZ too.....in Mesa, then Gilbert for 12 years. Sure don't miss that HEAT ! :tongue3:
Ron,
That is such an appropriate plate for you !! Glad it was available!

Thanks Vicky!!

I do need to quit buying these cars and bikes!! It's hard trying to make up my mind on which vehicle to take!!!! :D Course now, when the weather is nice, it's an easy decision!! The Majesty wins!!!!

small world.. I lived in the bay area for 30 years before I moved to AZ.. Still have familly in San Jose and San Carlos..
Kim,
What part of Calif are you from? I may have asked that before.....was it southern Cal?
Bob,
You're right, sure is a small world! In all the time we lived there, I think we went through Tucson once, maybe twice. Is it becoming "big city" like Mesa and Gilbert have??
Vicky
Way too big with way too much traffic.. You remember what Phx was like 15 years ago, no freeways and it took hours to go anywhere.. That is Tucson today.. My daily commute is 24 miles, all city streets and they have never heard of programming the lights for traffic flow patterns.. I am actually 15 miles north of Tucson and the only time I get there is work.. I have a home depot, target and safeway within 5 miles of my house.. No need to go any farther, especially now that Starbucks has opened.. Wife and I ride down every Sunday and sit with all the old guys riding Harleys !!!

I'm in Northern CA!! Sacramento!! It's nice an sunny today! Might have to go for a ride!!

Kim
Bob,
Wow! Bummer about that Tucson traffic. At least here, the traffic signals ARE set for optimum traffic flow and if the freeways are congested, you have NUMEROUS ways to get around them, either by other fwys or city streets. I pretty much know this county and w/the help of "511" a traffic number you can call ahead on for the most current freeway traffic conditions. It literally makes the difference on whether I go right or left on my way to work! Very helpful.

I liked the image of you and your wife going to Starbucks on Sundays to hang out w/the Harley riders! I'll think of you guys now on Sundays when I'm working.
Kim,
Sacramento! Oh, ok. It was nice here today too, but got up too late to ride into work. :(

Need to get back on Max, 'cause Eddie (my Ford/Explorer/Eddie Bauer) has too big an appetite !!

Hope you went out for your ride today and enjoyed it !! :D
Kansas has a limit of five characters, including spaces, for motorcycle license plates. Here's mine: VROOM
