Today, the temperature climbed to 75 F, but that is to be a brief heat wave. A large front is heading our way. Lots of rain on the leading edge of a cold front. I managed to ride a few miles. Last month when I had my 600 mile service, the Yamaha guy didn't know the Majesty had a rear transmission that required oil. Someone told me it did so I looked at it and sure enough it did. So I rode up there and they changed it. Must have held half a pint or so. Not much. But now I can relax and ride.

I have one of those rear luggage carriers ordered and hope to get that soon. Next spring I plan a 3-7 day road trip South. Hope others will post their rides here as well. I enjoy reading about other's rides.

Great site GreenGoose ! Growing fast !!!!!

Be careful with the kickstand, it is short and unless your paying attention you will lay the Majesty on its side, which sucks.

Also, I have found that the air filters on the Majesty should be checked much more frequently than the owners manual suggests. Especially if you have ever laid her on her side (see above). My air filters were so clogged they caused her to stall every time I stopped with only 2500 miles on her.

I know have 10K miles on her and check the air filters every 2K miles just to be on the safe side.

My two cents,

Hmmm-m-m-m. Like many riders, I have laid mine down. With the chilly weather in the mornings, I am occasionally having him stall whilst the engine is cold. Thanks for the heads-up to check the air filter. 8)
