rpms? and vibration?

when going 75, what are the rpms usually at? does it feel like you still have some throttle left.

How much if any vibration does the Majesty have and if it has some, does it increase at higher speeds?

I'm debating between the S'wing and the Majesty right now.

I've never checked the RPMs but there is still plenty left at 75.
Vibration is most noticeable at idle when you can feel the thump of the single stroke engine. Once you are underway it's gone. I feel no buzz
in the seat or in the handgrips.

The RPMs at 75mph are about 6000-6200 on His Majesty. I've been up to 85 and still had substantial throttle to go.
I had problems initially with vibration because the beads my rear tyre were not seated correctly. This left the tyre with a very slow leak and a bit of a twist, causing vibration. Now that the tyre has been reseated and the pressure is corrected, His Majesty runs smooth as glass and has no vibration, even up to 85mph.

As far as the S'wing, I am 5'5" and the S'wing was a bit too tall for me. It just didn't feel right (your experience, of course, may vary). :D

8) <--- Looking forward to seeing Pinwheel with the scoot of her dreams!
I'm going to look at the B650 once again, but B doesn't think it is a good fit since I'm on tip toes with it. I think it is the width of it that does it. Since the Majesty seat is the same height and I have no trouble. Now I've heard some thing about the S'wings that make me uneasy from people who actually own them, so....Guess I'll sit on the Lardy and the Majesty again today. Since the White 650's won't be around, I may just have a white Majesty  (oh B will hate to have to paint.)

The vibration question is because I don't want too much to mess up my shoulder again.
You said that the seat height are about the same on the B650 and the Majesty and you touch down on your tip toes on the B650. Remember that the B650 weighs approx 100 pounds more than the Maj. if memory serves me right. That extra 100 pounds supported only by your tip toes sounds like a red flag to me.
Hi, Nancy :p
'course you know where my vote goes :p
vibration ? no prob, Nancy.
and maintenance schedule is forever apart; none can beat the Maj. in that regard alone. :p
and where I live, 400 cc get lower insurance/regs rates than higher cc's.
When I am going 80 (indicated) the rpm's are 6000 and I have plenty of throttle left. I have had my Majesty to 107 or 108 and I think I could have gone a couple of mph faster. Actual would have been about 98 mph for the above figures. And it was still pretty smooth really.

Jeff
Thanks for all your responses. After lots and lots of thinking and talking with B, we ended up getting the 650 Burgman. The weight isn't as big of an issue as a thought. I can move it around a lot easier than my sporty.
Thanks again for all your help. It was a hard choice. The red Majesty was hard to walk away from.
Congratulations Nancy. I think that's a great choice!
Congratulations!!! Nice Choice. Good luck with her. That machine is solid as a diamond.

God Bless.
We hope you'll still pop in and visit us on the Majesty site too!
