I wash mine with regular car washing soap. Then to dry I use an aircompressor to blow off the water!!! It get's those hard to reach spots!!!
I've read on other forums that over time Rain-X will turn your windshield cloudy and yellow. Apparently the label states that it is not intended for plastics.gpsnut2003 said:then i use windex on the screen (to clean it) then i use rainex (sp?) on the screen for water repellancy (sp?) it works great. the water just beads and rolls straight off the screen.

A neighbor of mine turned me on to using lemon pledge. He uses it on his old Goldwing and the sucker looks terrefic still. It keeps the plastics shiny, keeps a lot of dust off, keeps the windshield super clean and dust free. Any smudges anywhere are much easier to wipe and, I believe, the extra coating the Pledge gives you helps to protect from minor scratches. It works for me!!! :wink:goodideadave said:Lemon Pledge???
