thanks for the info, ill check them both out.
the coldest im likely to be routinely riding in would be about 6 or 7 deg c, and that would only be for my daily ride to work, that's about 30 km or so.
a bit off topic, but here's a little story.....
a few years ago, i lived about 50km further south west from where i do now, and in the winter mornings it would be -4 or -5 deg c, and yes i rode to work in those conditions too. (had no choice) didnt have the nice windshield or fairing protection that the maj offers either. (it was an old suzuki GN250)
on the mornings that i did get to drive to work (not often) i would have to scrape the ice from the screen before driving. i recall one morning that i decided to wash the screen once under way (big mistake) the water froze on the drivers side window, and also put a thin coat on the windscvreen again. i couldnt see anything at all. lucky that i didnt crash the car.
anyway, back on topic now.....
i think the shields will be all the extra that i need. it's really just to help keeping my feet dry in the rain. my shoes got a little damp on my ride home tonight. i figure that the shields might give me a little extra rain shield.
thanks again.
