I guess I should start being active on here. I bought a Tmax after my Burgman decided to have a stroke 3 or 4 years ago. I think it's been 4 years now. I've since put about 25K miles on the thing, ridden it all over the east coast and am likely to not get rid of it until I just can't get any sort of parts for it anymore. Kymco AK550 is just not as suitable a replacement and there doesn't seem to be any other "sports bike" scooters on the market in the US. Maybe some day I can trade it / sell it for one of the few 530 units that came into the country. Till then, it's going nowhere.

Anyhow, I'm from south central PA and am a member/officer/founder of the Twisted Taps Collective - we're active with Mid-Atlantic rallies, host monthly rides, and get up to a whole lot of other scooter related shenanigans. I also have a couple of 2T stellas for masochistic reasons, and a Honda adventure motorcycle. I think next acquisition, after a Cannonball bike, will be a Yamaha Riva 180 or 200. Looks like a hoot and, while Yamaha makes everything a pain to work on, the over engineering sure does make for some good longevity.
